The Next Web recently published the latest free business productivity apps for Android. I picked out the very best every woman in business need to consider, – from organizer apps to email and content curation –  put them through their paces, and I must say, I’m impressed.

 

1. Simplenote

If you feel a little overwhelmed with organizer apps like Evernote, this could be the app for you. The  Simplenote app experience is designed for speed and efficiency. Simply open it, write your lists, notes or ideas and you’re done. There’s a good search function if you want to quickly look for something. Simplenote also comes with tags and pins to keep everything organised.  You can synch your notes with all of your devices and it won’t cost a thing.

2. Cal

Cal is another productivity app that has all the features you would expect from a calendar app. What’s exciting about Cal is its built-in intelligence. When you start adding items, say a business meeting or  a networking event with the address entered in the calendar, Cal will detect it and even map out the best route for you. To enable this handy feature, Cal will ask to use your current location so it can deliver additional info for each entry. Nifty!
