Event Review: Desfile de Moda

Spanish garment and footwear importer, Gaudi Barcelona launched their spring fashion collection in a recent event, Desfile de Moda.

Guests were treated to a parade showing fashion from two of Spain’s hottest designer labels, with day, evening and special occasion wear all on offer. The outfits were teamed with stylish Spanish footwear, together with millinery pieces dominated by a rich colour palette of exquisite turquoise, rich oranges, reds and fuchsia.

Ladies were invited to shop the collection while sipping champagne and grazing on delicious tapas in the funky art-space of Smart Artz Gallery in South Melbourne. A flamenco dancer and acapella guitarist brought the vibrancy of Barcelona to the occasion.

Gaudi Barcelona is the brainchild of gorgeous Spaniard Maria Pinol-Camano. The talented Trudy Alcoe of Events all Boxed Up. Fabulous custom-crafted millinery was provided by Lisa Jxu who runs Lady of Leisure Millinery, available by appointment at her Carlton showroom.
