Go See: Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale, which means “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a popular tourist site in the province of Denizli. The terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. Its pools have been used for bathing for thousands of years and is definitely a must-see by travelers who enjoy a bit of history.
