This month’s Mover Shaker Maker Coworking Day is all on resilience. We’ll be sharing stories, advice and tips on how to build a resilient business, an irresistible brand and a healthy bottomline. All under a sun-drenched courtyard where guests connect over a glass of wine, or get some serious work done in the adjacent conference room and workspace.
Plus, barista coffee, special treats and practical workshops throughout the day.

9.30-10.30am – Page To Pose yoga workshop
The theme is RESILIENCE. This is a unique yoga workshop facilitated by WOMAN editor, writer and yogi Stephanie Sta Maria. Bring a book that embody the theme and Stephanie will take you through yoga poses that tap into your inner strength. Suitable for all levels. BYO mat.
12.30-1.30pm– How to take control of your bottomline and become friends with your numbers
This is a working lunch facilitated by Stacey Price of Healthy Business Finances. As a Chartered Accountant and Registered BAS Agent with 15+ years in the accounting industry, Stacey has a passion for numbers and makes finance fun. Usually finance is the most hated task in a business, but one of the most important to get right. With the right systems in place, it becomes easier to stay on track, make important business decisions, and help build and grow your business to the next level. Stacey coaches and educates business owners to become friends with their numbers. “I don’t want business owners to fear their numbers – I want them to embrace and understand the numbers. I want business owners to feel in control of their financial position. I want business owners to have streamlined processes and less stress. And I want to have fun doing it!”
3.30-4.30pm – How to build an irresistible brand
Facilitated by a highly experienced brand strategist, you’ll learn the keys to creating an irresistible brand, the power of storytelling and what you need to do make an impact and smash your way in a crowded market.
You need to bring:
1. a book that embody the theme ‘resilience’ (if you’re joining us for yoga)
2. yoga mat and something comfy to wear
3. laptop to work from
4. business cards
5. smiles and good vibes
6pm-8.30pm Evening Event
Meet, connect, drink wine and hear the inspiring stories of incredible women who overcame personal adversities, cut their own paths, created a life on their terms and made their mark in business.

Etsy top seller and winner of 2014 Etsy Design Awards Britta Boekmann of BoldB
German-born Britta Bockmann is an industrial designer by training who followed her heart to Australia in 2013 and discovered her creative calling in the process. Settling in Wangaratta with her Australian partner, Britta discovered a love for Australian timber and jewellery making through the Wangaratta Woodworkers, founding her jewellery brand BoldB and opening her Etsy shop shortly after. Britta’s wood and resin jewellery has proven a hit with customers and around the world and she was last year announced the Fashion and Accessories category winner at the inaugural Etsy Australian Design Awards. Now based in Melbourne, Britta works full time on her business, creating in a small workshop space at her home.
Kristeene Phelan, Communications Manager of Etsy Australia
Brisbane born but Melbourne made, Kirsteene Phelan spent four years building super cute jewellery label Scrumptious Productions before jumping into a fantastic role as the first of two Community Managers for Etsy in Australia. Now Etsy’s PR and Communications Manager for Australia, Kirsteen is passionate about women in business, microbusiness and creative commerce in Australia. She loves her husband and stepdaughters, brightly coloured tights, trawling the world for vintage jewellery supplies, running and The Wire.
