I’m a marketing strategist and lifestyle blogger, a sucker for sexy domains (read closet geek), social media butterfly, lover of sky high stilettos, ballroom latin dancer and coconut farmer. I’ve been in all things tech, digital and social media since 2001. Long before it was cool.
I’m not the best cook but I try to channel “kitchen goddess” on lazy weekends. I take photos with my iPhone everywhere I go and break out into a rumba in public. It drives Mr W a little insane.
Mr W introduced a little man into my life and I love him like he’s my own. I suspect he loves me too. He leaves hints every now and then. Like this one, for example. It always puts a smile on my face. The teethy kind.
Though a city slicker at heart, I love nothing more than flying to my favourite tropical getaway to watch the sunset with a margarita on one hand and an iPhone on the other.
When it comes to work and play, I want to have my triple chocolate cheesecake and eat it too. From anywhere in the world. In this global hyper-connected community, life happens in 24 hour cycles and anything is possible. That is why Woman.com.au was born. To create the possibility of designing a life of my choosing, in whatever timezone (mine or the GMT’s), wearing whatever captures my imagination (I have a thing for ripped jeans). The traditional 9 to 5 work life in grey suits and grey spaces is but a myth to success or happiness. Inspiration abounds outside where it’s colourful, fresh, sunny and a little bit dangerous.
Currently, I juggle between consulting gigs in marketing and digital strategy, maintaining a coconut farm in the tropics and building the Woman.com.au brand. I invite you to join us on our journey. It’s going to be an amazing ride.
This is my life in pictures.
